Over the past few years, Learn Dutch has trained over 200 children and adult students, introducing them to the Dutch language and culture.
Charl Hirschmann acquired his teachers’ degree at the VrijeUniversiteit-VrijeLeergangen in Amsterdam. He is an experienced trainer/teacher in Dutch as a Foreign Language. Moreover, he is member of the resonance team of CNaVT = Certificate Dutch as a Foreign Language
For the last 10 years Charl has worked for Dutch market orientated corporates, the NederlandseSchool Kaapstad, Kaaps Forum voorNeerlandistiekand Language colleges. He founded the Learn Dutch language institute in 2007.

Ella studied at the PABO University in Oudenbosch, The Netherlands, where she earned her teachers’ degree. She is an all-round teacher, but very experienced in teaching children and training people for the Civic Integration Exam (Inburgeringsexamen). She worked for Dutch market orientated corporates, Nederlandse School Kaapstad and Kaaps Forum voor Neerlandistiek.
Jaco studied at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam where he obtained his teachers’ degree. He is an experienced teacher and teaching is his passion. He worked for the Nederlandse School Kaapstad. Jaco joined our team in 2012.
Marieke Jooste-Heinkens started in October 2015 as a trainer in the Dutch language and culture.
Her passion is training and teaching about international cultures. Over the years she has been assisting people with their preparation to move to The Netherlands. Being an expat herself she understands the importance of learning a new language and understanding ‘the other culture’. Marieke studied Transformational Coaching & Training at the Orbis Instituut in The Netherlands. She has over a decade of experience teaching & coaching many students. Besides working for Learn Dutch she founded Learn Global Impact. She guides foreign students during their internship in Cape Town.
Angela Schaeken is the newest member of the Learn Dutch team and has come onboard in March 2016 as a trainer in the Dutch language and culture.
